Buck Rogers in the 25th Century Main Page.
| A large number of asteroids were made for the asteroid field set for Return of the Fighting 69th. Also several set pieces were made for the fly-by of the large bad guy base asteroid. The asteroids and set pieces were made from poured urethane foam, then burned with a torch which gave a realistic look. Vance Frederick made the buildings for the bad guy base. The smaller asteroids were hung on monofilament on Stage 1, usually using four pick points to keep them stabilized. |
